Welcome
In the GWAC, sports are measured by more than just the final score. We believe in the power of positive coaching, the importance of sportsmanship for both athletes and parents, and the value of growing together within a diverse community. Our goal is to help every young woman maximize her talents while fostering her physical, intellectual, emotional, and spiritual strength.
The Girls Western Athletic Conference (GWAC) provides a fun, competitive environment where young ladies can develop both fundamental and advanced skills. Because we offer multiple levels of competition, we strive to ensure every athlete finds a place where she feels comfortable and confident playing alongside her peers. Through basketball, softball, and volleyball, we instill the core values of teamwork, respect, and integrity.
Serving 20 parishes within the Archdiocese of Cincinnati, the GWAC proudly upholds the mission of Catholic Youth Athletics:
"Catholic Youth Athletics furthers the mission of the Catholic Church by providing sports experiences for youth that are firmly rooted in the Catholic faith tradition, based on the goals of Catholic youth ministry, and aligned with the evangelizing mission of the Catholic Church." — Archdiocese of Cincinnati Charter
